Client Background & Challenges of building 3-5 T/H Fertilizer Pellet Line in Thailand
The client is from Thailand who operates a poultry farming and agricultural industry. With the continuous expansion of the farming scale, it also produced more and more chicken manure and other types of poultry waste. How to dispose these wastes becomes a problem. Traditional waste disposal methods are not only expensive but also easy to make the environment pollution.
Aimed to turn these organic wastes into valuable resources, the client decided to build an organic fertilizer pellet production line. This will solve the problem of waste disposal, meanwhile provide high quality fertilizer for farmland.
However, as the two main materials (chicken manure and rice husk) have certain fluctuations in the moderation and particle size, they can easily affect the uniformity and stability of the particles. Nevertheless, the existing production facilities were old and the layout was not that rational, resulting in frequent downtime and maintenance.
The client urgently needed an efficient and stable automated fertilizer production line to ensure smooth production.

- Pelletizing System Designed for Multiple Raw Materials:
Considering that the moisture content and particle characteristics of chicken manure and rice hush may fluctuate due to varying conditions. On the other hand, in order to minimize the impact of external factors such as seasonal changes and storage conditions, we designed a raw material adaptive processing and pelletizing solution for the client.
The production line is equipped with a humidifying device. In addition, considering that some of the raw materials are very light and not easy to feed, a forced feeder is also added to the chicken manure pellet machine. In this way, regardless of the raw material condition, the system can produce organic fertilizer pellets that are uniform in size and stable in structure.
- Optimized layout and improve automation:
To address the industry’s issues of outdated equipment and disorganized layout, we restructured the production line for our client. RICHI adopted a modular equipment layout to minimize the footprint and maximize space utilization. We designed a compact 9x3x10 meters setup that integrates pelletizing, cooling, screening and packaging into a streamlined and unified production process.
Meanwhile, at the screening and packaging stages of the whole prospect of fertilizer pellet line in Thailand, we implemented weighing sensors, intelligent weighing instruments and PLC control program. Thus significantly reduced labor cost and greatly improved operational efficiency. Moreover, the modernized setup provides flexibility for future capacity expansion.
Through this compact and intelligent solution, the client successfully resolved their two core challenges. They completed the transformation from a traditional workshop style operation to a modern organic fertilizer production facility.

From Installation to Successful Commissioning
Once the equipment was delivered, the installation of the 3-5 T/H fertilizer pellet line in Thailand began promptly. RICHI sent a team of 3 experienced engineers to the site in Thailand. After conducting a thorough site assessment, the entire installation process was completed smoothly within just 10 days.
During the commission phase, our team conducted comprehensive tests to ensure that all equipment was functioning as expected. We test the system with actual raw material such as the rice husk, to ensure smooth feeding. Additionally, we closely monitored the produced pellets to ensure step of the process was seamlessly integrated and met the required standards.
After successful commissioning of the production line, the customer was able to start production immediately. We also provided comprehensive training for the client’s staff to ensure they can operate and maintain the equipment in an easy manner.
