In straw pellet production, the pre-treated material enters the pelleting chamber of the straw pellet mill and is forced into the die hole by the action of the ring die and the pressure roller. During this process, high-pressure friction generates heat, which softens the lignin and acts as a binder. Finally, it is extruded and cut into dense, smooth cylindrical pellets.
