FEED PROCESSING EQUIPMENT FOR UZBEKISTAN

WHY THIS EQUIPMENT PERFORMS WELL IN UZBEKISTAN
Uzbekistan’s livestock industry is developing rapidly, yet many farms still rely on loose feed, resulting in significant waste. Before designing a solution, RICHI customizes the equipment based on local conditions—including power supply, raw materials, facility infrastructure, and maintenance capabilities—to ensure stable operation, durability, and ease of maintenance.

Broad Raw Material Compatibility
Uzbekistan possesses abundant resources of cottonseed meal and sunflower seed meal. Our equipment is compatible with a wide range of raw materials and features a steam conditioning system; it delivers excellent pelletizing results, producing pellets that are more durable for storage and transportation.

Multi-Purpose Functionality via Interchangeable Ring Dies
This pellet mill produces pellets ranging from 2 to 12 mm in size, with ring die changes allowing it to meet diverse feed requirements; it offers a production capacity of 1–40 t/h, making it suitable for both family farms and large-scale feed mills.

User-Friendly Operation & Simple Maintenance
The equipment features a high level of automation and simple operation, with support for Russian and Uzbek languages. Wear parts are highly durable, the modular design facilitates easy maintenance, and local service along with rapid spare parts support is provided.

No worries about an unstable power grid
To address local voltage fluctuations, the equipment is fitted with an IP54-rated motor and an overload protection system; these features provide effective dust and water resistance and automatically cut off power during abnormal current conditions, ensuring safe and stable operation.

Premium Pellet Quality
After conditioning and pelleting, the pellets feature a smooth surface and moderate hardness; they are resistant to breakage, facilitating storage and transport, while also offering improved palatability that helps increase animal feed intake.

Flexible Customized Production Lines
RICHI offers complete feed production equipment, ranging from raw material processing to packaging; alternatively, we can supply standalone pellet mills tailored to customer requirements for integration into existing production lines, thereby reducing equipment investment costs.
PROJECTS COMPLETED IN CANADA
Uzbekistan’s livestock industry is dominated by smallholder and family farms, which raise 95% of the nation’s total livestock. Feed supply remains a persistent pain point: inconsistent commercial feed quality suppresses milk yields and slows weight gain in livestock.
Recognizing this challenge, the Uzbek government has introduced supportive policies to encourage feed mill construction, with subsidies available for eligible projects. Many agricultural cooperatives and farmers have calculated cost benefits and opted to build their own in-house feed production lines.

5–6 t/h Cattle Feed Pellet Mill, Fergana
The client already owned functional second-hand crushers and mixers but lacked pelleting capacity. Their outdated equipment delivered low output and fragile pellets with excessive fines. Unwilling to invest in a full line replacement, they purchased a standalone pellet mill to integrate with their existing workflow.
Raw materials: Corn, wheat bran, cottonseed hulls, wheat straw, alfalfa powder
Core equipment: Single SZLH350 pellet mill with 55 kW main motor
Project Outcome: Hourly output reached 5–6 tons after installation, with vastly improved pellet hardness and uniformity. The client confirmed enhanced feed conversion ratios and complete feed consumption by cattle.

10–15 t/h Poultry Feed Production Line, Urgench
The client previously operated a small 1–2 t/h line with booming business and decided to expand production. They commissioned RICHI to build a new 10–15 t/h dual-purpose line manufacturing both mash and pelleted poultry feed.
Raw materials: Corn, wheat, soybean meal, sunflower meal, fats & oils, premixes
Core equipment: 500-ton steel silos, 110 kW crusher, 1000 kg batch batching scale & mixer, 110 kW pellet mill, cooler, crumbler, screener, automatic packaging scale, plus a 1-ton oil-fired boiler
Project Overview: Faced with competition from established local feed manufacturers, the client required high capacity and consistent quality to capture market share. The line delivers an annual output of 36,000 tons and was fully commissioned within 120 days of construction launch.

10 t/h Compound Feed Production Line, Tashkent Region
This feed mill qualified for government construction subsidies. It primarily produces broiler feed alongside cattle and aquafeed, supplying over 100 local poultry farms and creating more than 100 local jobs.
Raw materials: Corn, wheat, oats, soybean meal, sorghum, fish meal, vegetable oil, dicalcium phosphate, premixes
Core equipment: 500-ton raw material silos, cleaning sieve, magnetic separator, 90 kW crusher, single-shaft paddle mixer, 110 kW pellet mill, counterflow cooler, three-roll crumbler, fully automatic packaging system
Highlight: Full PLC automated control minimizes manual labor from raw material intake to finished bagging. Equipped with a double-layer conditioner for aquafeed production, extending conditioning time to achieve complete starch gelatinization and superior water stability for fish pellets.

Standalone 10–12 t/h Crusher, Tashkent Region
The client intended to reformulate feed with higher cottonseed meal content, a cost-effective, high-protein local staple widely available in Uzbekistan. Their old crusher processed cottonseed meal inefficiently, prompting a standalone crusher purchase.
Raw material formula: 30% cottonseed meal, 20% corn, 25% wheat bran, 15% sunflower meal, 10% premixes
Core equipment: SFSP66×80 water-drop hammer mill; rotor diameter 660 mm, grinding chamber width 800 mm, 110 kW motor, 10–12 t/h capacity
Project Outcome: The new crusher produces ultra-fine, evenly ground cottonseed meal for consistent batching and mixing, boosting nutrient digestibility in cattle.
Logistics Note: As a landlocked country, Uzbekistan requires multi-modal shipping: equipment is shipped by sea to Bandar Abbas Port in Iran, then transported overland to Tashkent and other cities.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PELLET MILLS AND EXTRUDERS
RICHI manufactures both pellet mills and feed extruders for distinct production needs.
UZBEKISTAN FEED MARKET OUTLOOK
Uzbekistan’s feed industry is undergoing a major shift from loose mash feed to pelleted feed, driven by two key factors: expanding livestock breeding driving rising demand for commercial feed, plus supportive government subsidies for feed mill construction. The market gap paired with policy incentives creates strong business potential.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION
How is equipment delivered to Uzbekistan?
→
Uzbekistan is landlocked. Cargo is shipped by sea to Bandar Abbas Port in Iran, then transported overland to Tashkent or other cities, with coordinated logistics and customs clearance arrangements.
Can the machinery withstand unstable local power supply?
→
Motors feature automatic overload protection that cuts power during severe voltage fluctuations to protect core components from burnout. IP54 dust and moisture protection enables reliable operation in rainy conditions.
How to handle worn machine parts?
→
Consumable wearing parts are manufactured from wear-resistant alloy steel to reduce replacement frequency. RICHI maintains local spare parts inventory in Uzbekistan for rapid local delivery.
Are ring dies interchangeable? What pellet sizes can be produced?
→
Ring dies are fully replaceable, enabling pellet diameters ranging from 2 mm to 12 mm for chicken, cattle, sheep and fish feed production.
