WORKING PRINCIPLE & DRYING PROCESS
Our biomass dryer machine achieves the drying effect by having hot air come into contact with the wet materials, quickly evaporating the moisture and achieving the drying goal. Moreover, we adopt a hot air circulation design, which can save more than 30% of energy.
The main process is as follows: The high-humidity raw materials enter the dryer. Hot air is provided by the hot air furnace, and at the same time, the materials inside the dryer are constantly moved. During the entire process, the hot air and the materials flow in opposite or the same direction. The moisture continuously evaporates. When the humidity reaches a certain level, some high-temperature and high-humidity air will be discharged, and at the same time, external dry cold air will be replenished to enter the dryer interior, thereby achieving the drying effect.

Rotary Drum Dryer
The drum-type dryer has a material-discharging plate inside. During the rotation of the drum, the materials are constantly lifted up and come into contact with the hot air to achieve drying.

Mesh Belt Circulating Dryer
The materials are laid flat on the mesh belt and dried through multi-layer hot air circulation transportation.

1-2T/H Coconut Shell Powder Drying Project in the Philippines
The client is located on the Luzon Island of the Philippines. The local coconut processing industry is quite developed, and there is a large amount of coconut shell-related waste. Therefore, a complete granulation production line was established to produce export-oriented biomass pellet fuel. The biomass dryer machine is one of the equipment in this project.
Considering the humid and hot climate in the Philippines, as well as the characteristics of the raw materials, the equipment adopts a circulating hot air structure, which results in better drying effects and reduces problems such as material carbonization. According to the granulation requirements, it can successfully reduce the moisture content of the raw materials from around 40% to approximately 12%-15%.

Vietnam 3-4T/H Wood Chip Project
The client is located in Phu Yen Province, Vietnam. There are many furniture factories and wood processing plants in the area, and the wood chip resources are very abundant. Due to the high initial moisture content of the raw materials, the client has added a set of drum-type dryer, mainly for processing sawdust and wood chips. After drying, the moisture content can be basically controlled at around 13%, which is very suitable for subsequent wood chip pelletization.
Meanwhile, in order to reduce operating costs, we incorporated a biomass hot air furnace into the production line design, which can directly utilize wood waste scraps to provide drying heat energy. The complete production line has been in operation for one year and two months, and all equipment is still running stably.

2-3T/H Fish Meal Drying Project for Indonesia
The client is located in the coastal area of Sumatra, Indonesia. The local aquaculture industry is highly developed, and there is a high demand for fish meal and shrimp shell powder to produce aquatic feed. However, due to the high humidity of the climate, the raw materials are prone to moisture absorption and mold growth. During the process of making feed pellets, the raw materials need to be dried and mixed according to the formula.
Considering that the nutrients contained in raw materials such as fish meal are highly sensitive to temperature, in the equipment, we adopt a zone-controlled temperature design to dry the fish meal and high-protein feed raw materials at low temperatures, thereby reducing the loss of proteins and other substances.

Vietnam 4-5T/H Chicken Manure Organic Fertilizer Drying Project
This client is located in Thong Nai Province, Vietnam. There are many concentrated livestock farms in the area, and the animal manure resources are abundant. In the past, the client mainly used the natural fermentation method to handle the manure, but it had problems such as slow drying speed, large land occupation, difficult storage and transportation, and heavy odor.
The local fuel costs are relatively high. After comprehensive consideration, it was decided to use a drum dryer and use a hot air furnace for heating. The wood chips, rice husks and other materials were directly burned to reduce costs significantly. The drying speed was fast and the drying effect was good. At the same time, the problem of strong odor was also solved. Now, the organic fertilizer is mainly sold to local orchards and rubber planting areas.

5-6T/H Palm Fiber Drying Project in Thailand
This project is located in the palm plantation area in southern Thailand. The client mainly processes palm fibers and palm shells into biomass fuel. There are issues such as high humidity and the tendency for palm materials to mold in this region. Drying is an essential stage in the production line.
Considering the hot and humid environment in Southeast Asia, we have incorporated an automatic temperature control and frequency conversion system into the mesh belt circulating dryer. By adopting a low-temperature circulation drying process, we can effectively preserve the fiber structure and ensure the stability of the granules after the granulation process.

Why is it necessary to dry biomass raw materials?

When many biomass materials are initially collected, their moisture content is usually around 30% to 60%. Excessive moisture often severely affects subsequent processing, such as blockage during pelletizing, loose particles, reduced output, and poor quality. It also significantly increases the material waste rate and cost, resulting in numerous losses. Therefore, generally speaking, the moisture content of biomass pellets production requires to be around 15%, so as to achieve good pelletizing results and high product quality.
